When your last little baby turns one… | Lake County, IL Photographers

I can’t believe this is the day, our last little baby’s first birthday. As much as I am overjoyed to celebrate his birth and his special first birthday I can’t help but feel a little sad. If only he could stay this little forever! But with every passing moment and new milestone we are so incredibly proud and excited to watch him grow and learn. Those little feet that learned to stand for about 10 seconds today will soon learn to walk and run. Those little white baby teeth that poke out of his adorable smile I will always cherish. That infectious laugh that makes everyone around him join in will continue to brighten our everyday. We are so blessed to have Brecken in our family and for everyone who knows him, he sure does love his Mama!! Of course he loves Daddy, too, but he’s definitely a Mama’s boy!

With the help of my good friend Zenaida, we took the kiddos to the beach to play in the water and celebrate with a little cake! (No way would I handle these three with sand, water, and cake at the beach alone for pictures!! Haha!) What started as dark clouds rolling in soon turned into the most gorgeous sunset and the most beautiful evening. There’s nothing better than watching Emmalyn and Jolie play with their little bro. They are absolutely the best big sisters and no one can make him laugh like they can! These three have our heart and we are so incredibly blessed they chose us to be their parents!
